Finally Found Planner Peace - Setup of my A5 Domino Filofax
I've tried several different planners over the past few months, trying to find what would work best for me. Well, I've finally found my planner peace with this LOVELY A5 Filofax Domino. This beauty was given to me by an angel in Austria and I'm forever grateful to her. I am so overjoyed to have this Filofax. It's my very first and I have pretty much gotten it set up for me to use daily. She was even nice enough to include some inserts and other extras with it. For the most part, I kept her inserts and added some things of my own. I may still add some more, but for now, it works!
This is the inside cover of my new baby. I've included page markers, page clips, stickers, and washi tape samples to keep with me at all times. The first two dividers were included when I received the planner! They are beautiful, so I decided to keep them. I've since stuck a Post It brand tab holder on the front divider! Also included in this picture is a Sharpie Pen (which I LOVE) and some BIC Cristal Pens, which I found at Wal-mart for about $1.47.
The inserts that I'm currently using in my planner are the DIYFish Life Mapping inserts. Fish just developed the LMI v02.1 version and that's what I have in here. I will do another post of these in detail later. But I am absolutely in love with them and have so much space to write everything that I need. I'd tried numerous inserts and these fit my needs best. What I like best is that you get to see the month, week, and day all at once! But I will go into detail more in a future post.
Now the picture below is also of some of the DIYFish inserts, it's just a different version of them. These were also already in the planner when I received it. I'm planning to use these to keep track of my blogging stuff. These are so cute!
And this section will be my A-Z filing system and will contain a variety of things that I won't have in my main sections. For example, this will hold my sheet that lists "Books to Read" or "Recipes to Try" and things of that nature. Once I have this section put completely together, I will do a post about it as well. There are a few videos on You-tube that show other people's layout of how they use their A-Z filing section.
So that is the basic setup of my Filofax A5 Domino in black and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this planner. I'd love to see your setup of your A5 Domino's and any other A5 Filofax you may have. For now, I'm at peace with my planner and will use her daily. I do have other planners that I will be using for other things but this will be my daily planner that goes everywhere with me. I hope you enjoyed this short post!

My New Addiction…Yep, I’m a Planner Addict!
Do you have a creative addiction like scrap-booking, planning,
knitting, etc? I recently found that my addiction was hiding deep down
inside of me and it’s been brought to the surface now. I have started to
plan and organize EVERYTHING that I do now. This was not a consistent
thing for me in the past. But not only do I plan, I LOVE to do it and
I’m having fun decorating my planner pages and shopping for planner
goodies. You may be thinking, “What is she talking about?” but I can
assure you, this is an amazing thing! Read on to find out more.
I recently came across a group on Facebook called Planner Addicts. I read the description of the group and immediately requested to join. I had a stack of planners next to my desk and thought this group would be the perfect way for me to better utilize them. Before finding this group, I would sometimes use my business planner that was provided by the company but barely used the one that I bought for more detailed planning of my business. The minute that I was accepted into this group, I began to read through the posts and was immediately addicted. I went through posts and pictures and files for hours on end that night. A couple days later I decided to venture out to Staples and buy some items to start my addiction process and create an all in one planner. That trip yielded me a 3-ring binder (8.5 x 11), a Martha Stewart 3-ring binder (5.5 x 8.5) and dividers to insert in both. Below are the two binders that I purchased! I am currently using the smaller Martha Stewart binder as my Spiritual Journal.
I got home and immediately started working on creating it the way I wanted and began to look for printable sheets that would work best for me. I found some and put together my first D-I-Y planner. This made me utterly excited because I’d now found something creative to do and I’m now passionate about doing it. So some of the ladies encouraged me to go ahead and join the October Photo Challenge which is a challenge to take photos each day of the month with your planner using the items listed for the challenge. I am now classified as a “Planner Addict” and I love that there are so many others that are as well. It’s like a family within Facebook. This is a new hobby for me and I will continue to perfect it daily! Below you will see a collage of my October pictures! Hope you enjoy!
